Barau, M.K.A worked for over thirty years with NNPC. Started as a Plant Operative/Process Engineer in the Lubes and Fuels Plants of Kaduna Refining and Petrochemical Company, then as a Technical Assistant to the company’s Managing Director. He was also a Downstream Technical Assistant to NNPC’s Group Managing Directors in Abuja.
Under executive capacity he held the positions of General Manager, Gas Processing as well as pioneer Managing Director of Nigerian Gas Marketing Company.
